6. Teaching how to make Cornell note( Social Studies):5학년 사회 코넬 노트 정리

In my class, my students make cornell note. This is guideline of making cornell note. I took a picture of good example and make this sheet. I passed all my students and find some differences with theirs. If they find as many as possible, they will know the best way to  summarize the points. I think that students can learn well from their friends.

5. Making Salad with cherry tomato : 방울토마토를 활용한 샐러드 만들기

 샐러드 활동 마지막 단계 만드는 과정 준비물 체크 및 요리과정 기록하기 완성된 샐러드, 원래는 별 같은 거 만들라고 한 건데. Students made salad with cherry tomato. After activity, they check each other : preparation, creativity, collaboration.

4. Birthday song of my class : 스웨덴 세탁소의 생일축하노래로 만든 뮤직비디오

My first music video...It was very difficult for me. I couldn't find movie maker program in internet. I downloaded another program and I tried to make a video. The song is "happy birthday" of sweden laundry. The melody of this song is easy and beautiful. power director라는 프로그램을 다운받아 만든 뮤직비디오이다.  쓰는 방법을 몰라 많이 힘들었다. 

3. Gallery of natural disaster : 자연재해 보고서

Natural disaster of Korea is flood, mountain fire, drought, dust storm, typhoon etc. I classified them into 4 groups seasonally : spring, summer, winter and fall. One of my students draws very well. She drew tsunami and wrote it in English. But it was not a Korean disaster. Next day, I read from newspaper that tsunami will be one of Korean disaster. Any way, I can see many different disaster. 

2. Debate "Fine dust is natural disaster": 미세먼지는 자연재해이다 (찬,반 토론)

This is a pyramid debate learning. When I was teaching natural disaster. I have never thought that fine dust is not a natural disaster. Is it important if fine dust is a disaster or not? I didn't think so. I planned debate. My students debate about fine dust. "Is fine dust a natural disaster?" I divided two parts, one is pros and the other is cons. First they debated 1:1 next 2:2, 4:4, 8:8. I couldn't give them enough time to debate and I didn't have experience much. But I thought it was good try.

1. Writing an explanatory note with classmates: 협력하여 설명문 쓰기

The theme is : 1. Ironman & Totoro (Character) 2. Idol group, K-pop 3. The Korean General, Yi sun-sin I taught my students how to make their book. It was art book like stairs. They chose different themes. and divided roles. They all participated in making a book. One team was divided into two groups : Three girls and two boys. But two boys had no idea, so they said sorry to the girls and participated in the girl's team. Students made some good books. I will show you next time...
